Porsche reveals Mission S, previewing a new offering above the 911
A New York debut for a vision model with a driver-focused analog cockpit

Porsche unveiled Mission S in Queens, New York, on October 15, 2026. The vision model previews plans for a permanently available mid-engine super-sports-car offering above the 911.
Its cabin features five round instruments that change arrangement with driving mode and a central analog-needle tachometer that moves toward the driver depending on the mode. There are no fixed center or passenger displays; a retractable MagSafe-compatible holder accommodates a smartphone.
The body incorporates an active rear wing, while the wheels recall the dial-style design of the Porsche 928. The design connects familiar Porsche details with a new sports-car concept.
The announcement does not disclose output, price or an on-sale date. Mission S illustrates a future product direction rather than establishing final production specifications.
