BG, Another Perspective on Cars

BG is a member of the LEGENDARY YouTube channel and a Seoul-based photographer and visual creator. Exploring contemporary culture and aesthetics through cars and lifestyle, design and technology, he expresses an ever-changing world in a visual language of his own.

For him, a car is a symbol of its time, bringing together technology, design and human aspiration. He is drawn to the sculptural beauty and dynamism of cars, and to the culture and lifestyles they create. His gaze follows their forms while also considering the sensibilities of the era and the tastes of the people reflected within them.

Another central part of his practice is the active use of digital imaging and artificial intelligence (AI), grounded in photography. Moving between documenting reality and creating new images, he continues to expand the possibilities of expression. Drawing on a photographic understanding of light, space and movement, he captures moments in the real world while also creating scenes and new visual experiences that conventional photography alone could not easily achieve.

His interests extend beyond today's cars and lifestyles to the future of mobility, the relationship between technology and people, and a changing visual culture. For him, photography is a starting point for discovering new possibilities and imagining scenes that do not yet exist.

Through BG's photographs and writing, LEGENDARY introduces another perspective on cars.
