Hello. The car we are enjoying in today’s Legendary Moment is:
BMW (E30) M3 Evolution 2
Among people who love cars, some may never have driven an M3—but surely none has driven one only once. Today's car is among the rarest first-generation M3s: the Evolution 2. Described in the original article as the only example in Asia, it is astonishing to encounter it in Korea. If you haven't seen our review, take a look.

Many E30s have been reborn through the restoration boom and returned to the road, but that does not make them collector's pieces.
This car meets every condition for collectibility.
The Evolution 2, or Evo 2, was offered in three colors: Misano Red (236), Macao Blue Metallic (250) and Nogaro Silver Metallic (243). The car we met wears Misano Red.
The ride height may look generous, but that lip and its approach and departure angles demand care.
Pure 1980s style: it feels as though every honest, separate piece could be taken apart.
The emotion it evokes differs in kind from a 2020 M3.
The intake manifold and opposite cam cover look modified, but this is high-quality factory finishing.
And a naturally aspirated engine tuned to the fullest.
An entirely different proposition from today's overused “Limited Edition” label.
How many of the original 500 still survive?
There are many M-look cars, but changing every detail is no easy task.
BMW knows how to command its fans' hearts.
The M stripes are now a symbol protected by enthusiasts—and then there is that manual gear knob.
Despite the reputation and passionate following, slightly disappointing interior finishes have also persisted into 2020.
In every way, it feels bolder than the newest M3.
No lengthy explanation is needed.
While many legendary cars have disappeared for various reasons or returned only after long breaks, the M3 has never stopped moving forward.
What is the dream car in your memories? We will be here until your dream car appears on LEGENDARY100. Thank you.
